About Lewis Flanders, Founder & Artisan
DDi, acronym for 'Daddy Does It' , is inspired by my experience in fatherhood. I started out by taking the visions of others and using my craftsmanship to bring them to life. The first Africa Bookshelf was built in 2016 during a time when I served in the United States Navy. I had no idea that I could do the things that I could do, until I did them. There were many transitions that I had gone through in life prior to reaching the level of clarity I gained that allowed me to grow in personal areas of my life, and in business.
Planning my son's future was not only important for him, but important for me as well. I use fatherhood as the blueprint for my business goals. If I can do it, then my son certainly can, and I could help so many others discover that they can too.
